A Fort Myers institution has received a second chance as a group of investors have purchased and plan to renovate the former Royal Palm Yacht Club building. The facility is now owned by three local investors (including the co-owner of Pinchers Crab Shack, Grant Phelan) and will be known as Marina at Edison Ford with an expected opening of February 2014.
