“NYPD Blue” and “Army Wives” star Kim Delaney has listed her Spanish Revival home in the Flats area of Beverly Hills for $7.995 milion.
“It was a home to raise my son,” Delaney told The Wall Street Journal of the property, which she bought in 2003 for $1.5 million. Now she’s looking for “a cool beach place” in Los Angeles, and possibly a home in New York City.
The 5,264-square-foot home she’s listing is bursting with 1920s appeal, from its round, tiled foyer with romantic circular stairway, stained glass, and Juliet balcony to the living room’s grand fireplace.
The family room looks out on the yard with floor-to-ceiling glass, and there’s a cozy den with a fireplace and wet bar.
The main house has 5 bedrooms, including a master suite with a fireplace and downstairs servants’ quarters with its own entry. The large, private yard boasts a swimming pool and spa as well as a guesthouse.
Even the laundry room has its charms. “It’s an incredible circular room with incredible moldings and exceptional detailing, and it’s actually the laundry room. There are so many good rooms in the house,” said Billy Rose, who’s listing the home with Alex Brunkhorst, both from The Agency.
